6/2 update

Hello!

I was at work all day so I don’t have all the information but what I am gonna do is do some copy and paste some text from Brandi and throw a little information that I know in.

-up 70grams in weight (3170grams) 7 pounds

-high creatinine with his labs 

-they said chest xray showed nothing new, the low volume was there before so no change. 

-cortisol labs were collected correctly just waiting for results 

-increasing feeds to 66ml

-reaching out to cranial facial because one of his labs shows his not processing carbon dioxide properly and they want their input on what position to lay him in because kids with facial structure abnormalities have trouble with that. 

-ENT checked his nasal airways, was able to pass on the left but not the right this morning

-they noticed his eye was cracked open while sleeping and wondered if he needs eye drops for lubrication. I told them he always sleeps with them cracked open, so they will do drops in his eyes.

I also asked just now about his length cause I haven’t heard about them measuring that. As of 6/1 he is 19.33in 

Cranial facial came by, she said they might do acid reflux medication to help with his oral secretions so that can help him breathe better. 

Also lying him on his right side, stomach or back to help with his airways. Right side since that nostril isn’t as open as the left side. 

She’s gonna report back to the doctors and I’m guessing tomorrow at rounds they would update us on changes

ENT does want to do a surgery on his nasal passages but want him to be a little bigger so now the thing we need Walker to do is put on some weight, they want him to be about 9-11 pounds. They will more than likely need to do both sides of his nose as well.
